6 Signs That You Will Succeed At A Job
Signs That You Will Succeed At A Job
Do you always think and get worried before/after securing a job? Many people do! Then you wonder if the work would be the major source of income for immediate needs and family members’. Before you jump into any job, get prepared. If you’ve started and want to know if that’s the right place of work, be smart enough to understand what it takes to be successful at the job. You need to know the signs that you will succeed at a job.
Signs that you will succeed at a job
1. Roleplay – LOVE IT (Create your own success)
I said earlier that literacy is quite different from illiteracy. A literate person is competent and can think widely about his/her future and its advantages to avoid its disadvantages and also to construct a solid medium leading him towards achieving goals. Above all is to read, write, understand and use the weapon (education) to communicate with the people belonging to other nation while an illiterate person does not have any of these qualities mentioned because he/she is living in ignorance.
This illustration further explains that before an individual can be successful in his/her job, he/she must be literate. You can create your own success by loving whatever the role or work being given to you. Even though no one has ever succeeded in your area of specialization, try to create your own success story by loving the roleplayed or work done.
2. Considering your opinion relevant
This is also another sign in every organization to be sure whether an individual is going to succeed. When you voice your opinion consistently in any matter arising and contribute to the development of the organization, you begin to command respect from those who are not courageous enough to express themselves and thereby the employer might consider your opinion relevant.
I have found that in many organizations, most workers find it difficult to express their selves. They all are afraid of being FIRED by their boss. But, HELL NO! You have to be bold and courageous to express your opinion, views or ideas as regards the growth of the organization. Believe that a consistent voice will command respect from your colleagues when it’s responsibly managed. Through this, your boss can consider your opinion relevant which will make you successful in your job.
3. Representing the company
Once your opinion is relevant and your voice is discovered, it can help build and develop your image in the organization which makes you represent the company. Since you’ve inspired those that don’t want to voice out, your chances of staying and succeeding in the job increases.
Let me share with you an experience:
When I was working as a Field Sales Agent and Assistant phone repairer at God pass them communications, I do express my opinion to both the customers and to my superior for the need to improve customers satisfaction, sales, and various marketing strategies. Among all the workers, I was often called either for messengarial work, sales or purchase of accessories. I was like a boss!!!! (you understand what that means- Workload), then he said your active participation in the growth of the company is optimal, therefore you’ll be representing the company.
You see the result? Yes, let people know you for who you are. Once your opinion is relevant and you’re being told to represent the company on any occasion or areas, that’s a good sign of success.

4. Provision of learning and innovation
If you’re working in an organization and there’s no provision of learning in any form, or innovation, I would advise you to QUIT.
Have you forgotten? I would remind you! Learning is a continual process, the arrogance of success is to think that what you did yesterday will be sufficient for tomorrow. it is said that the more we live, the more we learn! You cannot remain stagnant to the knowledge you’ve acquired before, even professors make further research ideally on a daily basis. Therefore, you can know if you’ll succeed at a job through learning and innovation.
5. Appreciating ones effort through rewards or incentives
If you still think and get worried in the job, I guess you’re not motivated. No rewards after tireless effort, words of appreciation! None is coming from your employer. This might discourage your work sense and give you the sign to continue or leave.
In conclusion, either you’re a literate or an illiterate, you need to show respect to everyone in your workplace, be socially active, explore and discover new ways through wish the company can grow, let your impact be known, build cordial relationship with your colleagues, don’t get easily distracted with money or your earnings, don’t seek too much praise from your boss, when he/she needs your service, you’ll stay. Be real, be passionate and define your work purpose.
