EXTRA HAPPY

How to be Extra Happy

I know someone’s who’s extra happy.
I have never seen him sad nor unhappy.
I call him Mr Happy, the one man whose happiness
Is just like a popular broadband’s slogan-
It’s everywhere he goes.

On a fateful day,
I mustered up courage,
Walked up and popped a question.
“Are you always this extra happy?”
His reply left me in utter shock
That I was almost in need of urgent medical attention.

Amidst smiles, he replied
“Beneath my hearty laughs
Lies a forlorn figure.
Beyond my loving smiles
Lies a broken heart.
Yes! I’m dying inside out
But must it be evident at a glance?”
