SILENCE
Silence
Calm waters run deep,
I value the words I speak.
I am wary of my own lip,
Lest the tongue lashes out, a whip.
Words poorly crafted have ground kings to knee.
Words swiftly parted, many their heads could not keep.
As for choice of words, there is a sea,
which, I elect sets me bound or free.
Pensive in thought and slow to speak,
A sign of strength yet many are weak.
In a plethora of words, folly will reek.
On these, in a moment, wonder and think.
Silence
